ok so i havent posted much about this, because honestly im starting to feel like a bit of a failure, but i have been looking for a job for 7 months now in education, and its getting realllllyy late with school starting soon
i went on an interview today for something that was supposed to be a shoo-in, and my boss proceeded to tell me that, 'im not sure if this is the right career move for your long term goals, and im just trying to help you out..btw have you ever tried modeling? i have a number if you want it..'
i walked out of there (after an hour of listening to her go on like this) in tears
it was just a bad day

I'm sorry to hear that The educational field is hard...dont worry about not getting a job at the start of school. I didnt get a position until the second week of school.
Whats your certification area? If anything opens up in my district I'll let you know!

I'll keep my eyes out! Staff gets first word about any vacanies. Right now, I've only seen Special Ed. I'll let you know though!

don't feel bad!! education is really hard to get into now, they are excessing like crazy... i felt like you too, after i graduated i was looking for a job like crazy and there was just nothing so i ended up subbing for a year... it was good because then ppl get to know you and such and it was good experience... and even after a year of subbing i still didn't have anything and it was the end of august... well a week before school started, i got a call from one of the principals offering me something and i was like woohooo... don't get discouraged, lots of things happen in august and some ppl decide not to come back last minute...
