I woke up this morning with excruciating pain down in my pelvis. After nearly fainting and dry heaving, FH took me into the emergency room.
Now, I'm freaking out mostly bc we are going BM dress shopping tomorrow- in which I have 6 girls who live all over the state miraculously being able to come to a mutual point to shop tomorrow. We are staying with one of my FSIL who had her hubby plan a weekend with my FH and FBILs to go skiing, had babysitters, etc. Weeks of planning went into this weekend.
Turns out I have an ovarian cyst. It hasn't ruptured yet and they usually prescribe BC pills for it which I am already on. I am feeling much better now so they are hoping it goes away on it's own. I have some Vicadin if I have pain tomorrow, but as of now it is GAME ON! Bring on the shopping!
I am still a little uncomfortable but very relieved. If you've never had one, I DONT wish it upon you- that internal sonogram was the worst thing I've ever experienced. What a day though!

I have an ovarian cyst and like you ended up in the ER a handful of times.. Luckily the worst is over. It usually hurts for a day or two the most a month... however on the BC it hurts less and I got so used to it I barely even notice anymore.

Oh no, I'm so sorry!!! I hope you're feeling better soon. I had one too, thankfully haven't ended up in the ER yet, but it causes bleeding sometimes and I had to get that sonogram too. For me it was especially traumatizing, I started like crying.
Take it easy and relax the rest of today, and feel better!
i must say...women are tough AND wonderful people...you are a prime example! here you are in pain and having a medical condition and all you are worried about is inconvenienceing your friends who have made plans to shop with you for gowns......

hahaha.... that, and maybe a little selfish bc I really wanted to go dress shopping?? hahahha
I am feeling much better and am armed with Vicadin for the weekend when I'll be gone just in case, I am glad this happened today and not tomorrow though

oh jesus you poor thing! I didn't even think about it from that point of view, yikes. I admit, I was a little traumatized myself lol
