My FH is having his groomsman wear lettered boxers and when they pull down their pants it will say 'JUST MARRIED!' and I am surprising my FH with a Flash Mob dance to 'I've Got a Feeling'. I think those types of surprises are going to be the best.
omg AWESOME!!! I hope you post pix of this. Your guests are going to love it.

Re: 'what a nice touch!'
we did:
-- wrote our own vows -- dove release at the end of the ceremony -- steel drummer at CH -- flip flop basket (people are still talking about it) -- we took dance lessons so our first dance was 'fancy' lol -- percussionist during reception -- 'face part' sticks on the reception tables (they made for some great pics lol):

I really wanted to do the air fresheners because I thought that would be an amazing touch but my FH vetoed me on it. We are putting out matchbooks and napkins that are personalized. I think the most exciting part of our wedding are the surprises we have planned for the reception. My FH is having his groomsman wear lettered boxers and when they pull down their pants it will say 'JUST MARRIED!' and I am surprising my FH with a Flash Mob dance to 'I've Got a Feeling'. flash mob dance...thats awesome...how did you arrange that

I'm waiting for an answer to that question too. Either air freshners or potpourri.

Re: 'what a nice touch!'
Remember the bathrooms- make sure both genders' bathrooms have a nice basket which includes at least a comb, deodorant, Tums, Tylenol, IB Profen, a small first aid kit, and TIde-to-Go pens. Also put a little tiny cup or vase with some pretty but inexpensive flowers in every toilet. It will keep the mood going whereever your guests are.
Do something special for your groom. A special surprise on the wedding day, planning a great breakfast or treat for the morning of to make sure he's pampered too, and a creative grooms cake are all great ways of showing you are a true partner and know it's his special day too. A love letter sent to him the morning of will make him so happy to meet you at the altar!
Personalize your cenemony.
Think of little ways to keep your guests comfortable and engaged at each location of your venues and ways to tickle their fancy.
End the night with a bang! Get creative.

Re: 'what a nice touch!'
I just contacted Carl from Wedding Air Fresheners. He is located on Long Island. He was VERY helpful and I loved the stuff on his website. He is going to rush my air fresheners for me and the prices are very reasonable! You girls should deff contact him. I called his number on the website. It turns out hes a vendor on Long Island weddings under favors! Hope this helps and I'll let you know how they turn out!!!

Right when they unveil the vienese hour, they light these HUGE 2 inch in diameter sparklers (but I'm not explaining it correctly). As they are being lit, the bride and groom walks down to see allllllll the amazing desserts and stations. They light them as you walk so it looks like a domino effect.....totally AWESOME!!!!
