I had all of the wedding addresses saved on our computer (Microsoft Word). I saved them to documents, not on a disk since I have never had any compuer issues.
WELL.....
My father decided to try and DL music off of some site that charges you less and the computer got a virus and crashed. All of my addresses are gone and silly me did not hand write them anywhere so now I have to collect them all over again (one's I don't have in my book)

OMG!!!!!!!!! I am so sorry to hear that. I also have many addresses saved in word on my computer that I do not have written down anywhere. I think I might get them on a disc.

I feel your pain. My computer crashed 2 weeks before I was going to be sending out the invites and I didn't have an addresses written down. Luckily I had e-mailed the address list to my finace at one point so we at least had a majority of addressed but still needed to get a bunch. Maybe you could try to restore your system.

if you didn't get the BLUE screen, you might be able to do a system restore!!!!!
sorry that happened! UGH! that happend to us and we lost a lot of our pictures.........

theres hope!! the same thing happened to me and i bought my computer to best buy and they were able to save everything on my hard to a cd. yes my computer is gone but all my valuable info was saved. it was approx $100 and so worth it.

Ours crashed and I lost every address as well. I had to redo the whole thing...I wish I thought about calling the Geek Squad!! Now I have it on a flash drive as a backup...
