Ok, so Sunday I have a wedding for my MIL's friend who is 40 years old and this is a 2nd marriage. My DH isn't going because he will be in New Orleans with the Carpenters Union. Now I'm stuck at a wedding sitting with my MIL, My Nana-in-law, DH's aunts, nobody is my age and based on the shower, I was so out of place. Now I'm driving my DH's family to this wedding. That goodness its a day wedding.

Well at least you're a past bride now, you can sit and nit-pick at every little detail!! That can be entertaining.
Hopefully it'll be open bar, that usually helps!!

that doesn't sound like too much fun. I'm in the same boat as you. But it's on Monday. Bridal Shower for DH cousin. It's during the day, but it's my day off of work. Didn't really want to spend it at a shower. But I know it will be good food.
