yeah, 1/2 up 1/2 down. i feel in love with a $1000 thomas knoell headpiece that i know i can't afford so im trying to find something in the $500-600 range

wow! I think the one I found on Etsy was like $60! I think I am doing up, but a low up (if that makes sense) a low bun type style at the nape of my neck with bangs swooshed to the side

I love Bridal Styles. I went in there a few weeks ago and bought my headpiece and veil. Loved the guy who helped me. I showed him a picture of my dress and he had the perfect headband to go with it. I tried on a ton of them and ended up going with the first one he had given me. And he's letting me borrow it for my hair trail in two weeks even though it won't be finished. He was very patient and was very accomodating since I don't live in NY anymore. He threw in a custom cathedral veil and blusher for free too. He has tons of gorgeous pieces and very reasonable (under $500).
