What age group is a Jr Bridesmaid*

My dtr will be 8 yrs old at the time of our wedding. I'm thinking she might be too old to be a FG

My FH's son will be 9 when we get married and we decided to make him a junior groomsmen. We thought 9 was too old for a RB

My FG is going to be 9 when we get married. I am having her wear the dress the girls are wearing and have a bouquet in stead of doing the tossing of the flowers. I felt she was in the inbetween, so that is why I am doing this but, she is your daughter and you do what you want Ang. She is going to look beautiful!!!

I want her to be a FG but I don't know if I will be able to get her dress to be the same as the bridal party. So, I need to find something similar or let her dress replicate mines

Which way do you perfer? I am sure if you want her to look like the girls someone would be able to make it. Have you looked into that?

I agree I heard that junior bridesmaid is no older than like 12 or 13. SO I think 8 is perfect for Jr BM and I agree she is too old for FG

Ive checked different sites for you and they all say something different. Some go as low as 6 which i think is way too young and as high as 16...

The norm seems to be 8-9 to 13-14... I think if shes smaller, you get can away with her being a FG but if she looks a lil older, than Jr BM...

But really since shes sorta in between, you can have her be whatever you want ... depends on the type of role you would like her to play
