They should be young i dont think they should be any older than 7

I would say btw 3-8 but it really depends on the kids. If you want someone to be a FG or RB then have them, don't let age dictate.

I would love for my nephew to be the ring bearer but he's only going to be 2 years old at the time of the wedding. I think thats too young.
We decided to not have any. If I can't have my nephew I don't want any :)

I agree, Actually I have a 7 yr old that I made a Junior BM, but I think they can get away with FG too

I would say up to 10 or 11....once they start reaching junior high.....then its time for junior bridesmaids or groomsmen status

Traditionally, between 4 and 8, but I say choose whoever would mean the most to you. My flower girl is 2 (our daughter) and our ring bearer is 10 (my baby brother).

I would say anyone under 10 -
Our FG's are 3 and 6 Our RB is 8
We would love to have a RB that is closer to the ages of our FG's but our families are blessed with lots of little girls and I had no other little boy to borrow......

I say have who ever you want. My RB is my nephew who's only going to be 2 1/2...
But if he doesn't make it down the aisle i'm find with it.. He's just going to be so cute in his little tux regardless...

I would say it is up to you. I remember a girl who used a doll for her FG, so it is all about choices, YOURS!!!

i was also having this dilemma. i might just have a bunch of my preschoolers (students)act as my flower girls--i dont really now any little kids. fh lil sis will be 11.

I think under 10 yrs old is the norm for FG or RB.

My FGs will be 4 and if I ask 2 other girls, another 4 and a 6 year old

I agree. Typically its suppose to be around the age stated above...but its your wedding and you can do whatever you want..my RB is going to be 3 and my FG will be 9
