what am i doing wrong -dog question repost from nw

My puppy is now almost 8 months and STILL is pooping in the house!
She goes out at around 6:00 am and does 'everything', eats breakfast and gets put back into our bed with my husband so I can leave for work. He takes her out at around 9:00. She pees and gets gated in the kitchen. I come home around 6:00 and she does 'everything'. She eats around 7:30 and goes out once more before bed to do both again (maybe 10:00).
Here is the problem. She always poops in the house after her 6:00 time, but before her dinner! It's like she refuses to let it all out at one time!. She doesn't have accidents in the kitchen during the day. She doesn't have accidents in the bed. She can definitely hold it and control it. I just don't GET IT! It is SO frustrating. I use Natures Miracle every time, I restrict her from her 'favorite' spots, I even have fed her on TOP of a favorite spot. And when I do catch her and yell bad girl she just wags her tail!
Any advice?

she still may grow out of it...but try taking her out at 6...and then 5 mins later going out again...then maybe she'll get used to getting it all out...

so take her in and let her run for a minute and then take her out?

just an idea...b/c sometimes puppies lose track of what they are doing...

my dog is 1 1/2 and on walks he sometimes goes 2-3 times...

H ELL IS THIS GOING TO STOP???

I'm getting sooooo annoyed!!!!!

just from recent experience....it should be stopping soon...I would say btw 8-12 months is when our puppy really started maturing...and getting his poop together...literally...lol

however if we have people stay over...he has accidents...but that is just his 'I want attention' coming out

well they should have some idea after 5 months...before that...I wanted to strap a diaper on him...lol

I have the same problems with my dogs. They are a year and a half years old. One is almost 2!!! If we don't take them out when they first wake up they will pooh in the house. They wake up at 5am and should be able to hold it until 6:30am! They are just stubborn.

our dog is good about waking us up when he has to go...he'll move the shades...scratch his collar to make noise...or lick my toes...

karen...have you ever taken your dogs to ocean beach? i hear its the only one that allows dogs

funny erica...my pup totally scratches her collar to get me up. she also 'accidentally' bumps into me.

She's like 'I just want to take a little stroll while I get comfy again...oops! is that you in there? Didn't mean to throw my body at your back....sorry bout that....now that you are so clearly up, maybe we could take a walk outside and check out the sunrise....'
