My wedding is OVER 1 year away and already there are problems. My FH's sister said she doesnt want to come to the wedding!! She said she doesnt want to pay for the trip. (She is from out of state) Also, her 3 kids were supposed to be in the wedding party. 2 FG's and 1 RB. I think shes being a BIG jerk, and my FH is really upset. I told him not to worry, that he and I would pay for their trip, clothes, hotel, etc. But I dont think this is fair. We have enough expences (sp?). However, my FH is really upset and stressing about it. I also really want the kids in the wedding party. I mean, its bad enought that she said she didnt want to be one of my BM's. Please help me.
I am so sorry! Maybe you could tell her how much it means to you and there is alot of time for her to change her mind. Best of luck.

That really sucks. If I were you, I would not have the kids in the bridal party. You will be worried for the next year about it. I think it will be less stressful if you don't have them. JMO

Its a great thought to not have them, but I REALLY want them in it and so does my FH. Shes being really cheap. She knows how much it means to us already. Thanks for the advice.

IS there a reason as to why she won't come? It can't just be the expense of the trip....it's her brother....there is no price on seeing your brother get married....

just forget about her. If you dont want headackes for a year and bad dreems try to find someone else.I know she is important for you and your FN but apparantly you are not important to her.

btrflygrl- It is just the expenses of her dress, the kids dresses, the trip, etc. I know its her brother and your right, there should be non price on that but appearently there is one now.

Expenses are really not an excuse...it's over a year away...she could save up to make the trip and buy dresses, etc. There's always ways to cut costs!!!!
I'm sorry this is happening to you ...you never know she may changer her mind when she comes to her senses!
