Today we had to go to our venue and make our final payment and drop off all our items we were leaving at the venue (favors, place cards, card box, table numbers, etc.) I decided to do a lot DIY projects and really personalize our special day. So handing over the final payment and dropping off our items was a huge weight lifted off both of our shoulders. It was a huge sigh of relief. FH decided on having dinner to celebrate at our venue. For all of our hard work and it just be the two of us. Sitting there over a glass of wine (or two) at dinner and looking at my soon to be husband it was such a confirmation of how much all of this was worth it and how much I love him. I am such a regiment person and he is more of a spontaneous person. He takes me out of my routine and comfort zone and because of that I am ever so grateful. I keep him grounded when need to be and he gives me wings to fly and let loose. Sometimes we get so caught up with the planning and detail of the wedding that we lose track of what matters the most - the quality time spent with each other. I know it has not been a walk in the park with this wedding but I am so grateful and blessed that I am marrying a man who has been so patient with me and so gentle with my heart. So looking forward to marrying my best friend in 3 more days.

Awh! Those are such sweet words. I love those moments. I always call them my 'centering' moments. Mike always brings me back to center. Congratulations Kimberley, can't wait to see pictures and hear all about it!

Its so true with the stress of planning sometimes those things get lost. I think you said it perfectly though and happy you had such a good night. So excited to hear about your big day I'm sure it will be wonderful.
