Choir...very funny, Sue!

That's not a bad assessment, but I think it was more in junior high than in high school when I was that quiet. I kinda found my voice in HS (no pun intended!) But I agree that getting out of Commack was the best thing I ever did!!

Sex on the Beach would be the same as the Malibu Maybreeze/White Zinf assessment.

You probably had a pretty sheltered and protected upbringing (probably spoiled) and as such you feel most comfortable staying close to home as opposed to wanting to go out and travel the globe.

Although you might be comfortable taking some risks (the shot) you still will only do so after weighing out the how safe vs. how risky option and only after assessing that it's 'more safe' will you venture into the unknown. You never dive in, but you will always first test the waters.
You'd rather be the big fish in the small pond so to say, where you already know all your surroundings than go out into the ocean where you'd risk being the small fish in the sea and the added danger of being eaten alive with all the sharks.

It's really not hard to do any of this. Anyone that's ever been in advertising or direct marketing would probably be able to read people this way.

It's just like target marketing and how when people (or large companies) want to sell something that's geared towards a certain group of people, they'll have others research the demographics that are specific to that group.

It's not surprising that most of us, whether we like to admit it or not, will always fall into some category or another. The person that shops at Pottery Barn isn't the same person that shops at Huffman Koos. If you buy your clothes at Ann Taylor, chances are you won't shop at bebe. And then all these charactheristics will also extend to travel experience, restaurant likes/dislikes, life experience, brands of sneakers, brands of clothing, what kind of car we'd prefer, all the way down to whiskey drinkers vs. vodka, vs. 'only fuity' or only merlot, or only domestic/non-domestic...it goes on and on and on.

All it is is market research. And if you learn to study people and groups of people and even the friends you hang out with you'll be surprised at all the similarities that can be classed from something as basic as a drink...

Sadly, none of us are as original as we think
Think I'll have a glass of merlot now.
