Are you wearing it and if you do any sports leaving it in the hotel? Were doing a week in Aruba and then a cruise and I'm nervous to wear it, jeweler said he can make a fake one of my exact ring, but its a bit pricey, maybe but a fake of something else?? What are you ladies doing

My rings are coming with me. I'll leave it in the safe in our hotel room if I swim, but it's not leaving my finger otherwise!

My real rings are staying home, safe and sound. I'm buying a Sterling Silver CZ set...the SS won't get discolored and the CZ won't either. They sell sets at the little stands in Roosevelt Field and at Lord and Taylor's. That way, if when doing a water sport or excursion....if I ruin it or lose it somehow I won't care.

Check and see if your hotel has an in-room safe. Most good resorts do. I brought my usual jewelry with me, and wore it for dinner and stuff. The rest of the day, for swimming and sports, I only wore my wedding band, which is plain. I never take it off, actually. I've had it on for nearly two months! I wonder if I have a tan line on my finger underneath...
BTW, we were at Sandals, which had an in-room safe. It's always good to stay in a hotel that has one anyway. I kept our passports, return tix, my iPod, and my medication in there, so I didn't have to worry about it. I really loved Sandals.

I've been on vacation since getting engaged and my e-ring stays home. When I get married, both rings will stay home. I bought fake rings for vacations.

we got matching art carved white gold bands that we are wearing on the honeymoon. The platinum and diamonds are staying home! my luck something will happen

Yeah I think I might just get a fake set, I'm to nervous, I know the hotel has a safe, but not to sure about the cruise... I just love my rings so much and really want to wear them on HM FH said he's going to try and find something similar online that's fake.. Thanks girls!

I actually just bought a 'fake' set today. They are so pretty! I got them at the flea market in Sayville for $30...I am going to be on the beach and in the water the whole time on my honeymoon, I DO NOT want to loose my rings. Even when I go the beach around here I never wear them. My FMIL lost her ring years ago at the beach, to me, that is a warning.

We brought ours... there was a safe in the room so when we went to the pool/beach/watersports... we left it in the safe in the room.... we basically wore them to dinner
