what are eveyone's New Yrs plans?

I know we have another month and a half to go, but I want to start planning something fun for me and FH to do.

Last yr we went to Stowe, VT which was the most awesome New Yrs in my entire life.
This yr obviously we cant afford to go anywhere, little along Stowe

So what are everyone planning? I need ideas!

I will be crapping my pants since I get married just a day later!

I don't go out that night. I either go to a house party and crash there or have a few people over at FH's house.
IMO New Year's is Amateur Drinking Night and people get too stupid...lots of drunks on the road.

Last year we were on our way to a party and it was fekkin' COLD so we stopped at a liquor store for booze, grabbed a pizza, and stayed at his place with some friends. And it was AWESOME.

our friend throws a party every year but this year hes doing it on a yacht and i get really sea sick so i dont wanna spend my night puking

so i have no clue what we will do since all our friends will be doing that.

we dont do anything, but sit in and hang out. Ive SEEN too many accidents on the road this night i refuse to go out.

Reg, where is stowe did you go? I used to live there

all of our friends just had babies so none of them can throw any parties or go to someone else's house party.

ppl w/house parties: plz invite me and FH, we are fun and never get too carried away with drinking (well FH doesnt, me I just dont puke )

we stay home. we did the coral hosue 1 yr. it was fun.

our bach partyis the next day on a cruise(to nowhere over night lol)

so we might have ppl over

we went skiing - my 1st time!

usually we hang out at home since my dad is a new years baby!! We usually have a big party actual new years day, have a bunch of family over to celebrate together.......

the days of going out and celebrating at clubs are longggg gone - I am an old fart now

OMG that is sooooo cool!!!
we stayed at Arbor Inn, this nice Polish couple owns it. It was across a skiing store where I rented my skis and gear
