I think we are going to try to put the word out that we are trying to save up to buy a house (by word of mouth of course) but we will probably also register somewhere like Target or Macy's. Places that are all over since we have people comming from so many different states.

Living on Long Island you have to register at Fortunoffs. Their selection is great and if there is a problem with something off the registry they exchange it no problem. Registering at other stores is a good idea, you want to give your guests a price range that varies.

Registering
I registered at Macy's and Fortunoff's and Mikasa (my everyday was only available there). No problem returning stuff at Fortunoff's w/o a receipt (that was on the registry), but that wasn't the case at Macy's. Their return policy SUCKS! I returned something that was on the registry that was about $15, but I didn't have a receipt so they would only give me back $5 and change!!!!! They don't even give you the sale price, they just make up some ridiculous price and the best is, they can't even give you a credit right then and there, they have to MAIL YOU A CHECK. Never again. Colleen, FYI, 2 of my friends just registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond and I thought that was a great idea and was a great shopping experience!! They wrap your gifts in boxes or bags with tulle ribbon, very nice and they were very friendly and helpful. The new one in Westbury is fantastic and has much more than some of the other ones. If I could do it again, I would've registered there and NOT at Macy's!

Anyone use Michael C Fina?
I know that the china is much cheaper there, but was wondering if they are easy to deal with. My concern is people who order online, and then possibly get a broken piece. Are they willing to take it back, or is it problematic?

Anyone use Michael C Fina? Yes
I am registered there. They are so wonderful to deal with. Nothing that I have received arrived broken. However I have returned things simply because I didn't like it anymore and they took it back with no problem. They have been very nice to deal with. If you can I would go into the store to register, it is really nice in the store and they have an enormous selection. Good LuckWelcome New Vendors
