I love pasta pasta in port jeff. I don't know if that romantic enough but it's really nice and cozy inside, lights are dim and the food is amazzzzziiinnngggg!!!

The Melting Pot Blackstone Steakhouse - their booths are circular so you sit next to each other Rein (in Garden City Hotel)
ETA: also La Tavola in Lynbrook and La Marmite in East Williston

Cool Fish in Syosset, Branzino in Lynbrook (small place but really romantic), Jonathan's Ristorante in Huntington, Palio (Italian food) in Jericho. HTH...Happy Anniversary
