What are some of the extra costs added to the morgage that I am forgetting?

What are some of the extra costs added to the morgage that I am forgetting?

PMI, yearly taxes, home insurance, closing costs. I do that morgage calculator that they have online but it doesnt incluse everything. What else is there?

appraisal fee, brokers fee credit report fee but some times these fees are included in the closing costs and sometimes not -- depends on the broker. I had top pay the appraisal fee upfront it was around 350$

The lawyer fees! and sometimes you may have to get a survey done as well,and dont forget the engineering inspection.

There are a bunch of transfer taxes and if you are purchasing in NY mortgage tax. Everything should be listed on your good faith estimate.

Payments to the previous owner for Oil in the tank if you have oil heat, any prepaid service contracts like alarm service or CAC service

Do you mean monthly mortgage costs or mortgage closing costs?

Monthly morgage, like PMI and closing costs and home insurance. We are going to talk to someone this week so I'll ask them but thanks for the help!

The things that are included in your monthly mortgage are:

Loan Payment
Property Taxes
Home Insurance
PMI (if you put down less than 20%)

The other home costs separate from your mortgage will be:

Electricity
Gas/Oil
Water
Garbage Collection (only some areas)

Phone
Cable
