what are some of the weirdest engagement party/wedding gifts youve gotten?

so i have got to see what some of the weirdest/most odd gifts were that you ladies received.

now we had a registry and all that good stuff b/c peeps kept asking but there is 1 that takes the cake that we just received Off the registry of course).

Now i am in no freakin way superficial, expected anything for our party or ANYTHING to that extent....however some of my guests who even saw this thing inquired about it and said w t f?

list away ladies!!

umm my gma gave us a lead crystal bowl from wal mart, and told us we could use it to serve salad..

OMG!!! That is CRAZY!!! a effin hubcap and a box of rubber snakes?!!!
WHY?!!!

sorry for from my aunt got this Ugly pottery-type fish she says it's a spoon rest!!! Thank god she gave us a check to go along with it. . . . . I should try to take a picture of it!!!

that woulda been an awesome gift for me.. i'm missing the front passenger side hub cap off my corolla lol send it this way!

Someone in FH's extended family gave me a wallet in a very half-assed kind of way. We were at his parents' house shortly after we got engaged, and his relative showed up with bags from Macy's and just handed me this wallet, unwrapped, and said 'this is for you, congratulations on your engagement' I think it was something she bought for someone else or for herself, and just felt obligated to give me something since I was there.

i got a wedding picture album. but its huge and its pop-up like a childrens book..
everytime i say pop up i laugh like i can picture myself cutting around a pic of me and FH and gluing us to the page and everytime someone opens the book.... up we go!!

My dad's student (he tutors doctoral candidates) gave me a brown paper lunch bag filled with old-school ponty-tail holders and baby hair clips, and a pair of used glasses.

Which she came back for because she 'forgot' she put them in the bag.

And she is an otherwise pretty normal woman of 35.

A old fashioned stove popcorn maker...not on our registry... that when we went to return it couldn't because the popcorn inside expired in 2006.

not so much weird, but unexpected, friends of ours chipped in and got us a kitchenaid. my mom was pissed though because she's always wanted to get me one.
