This seems like a silly question, but what are some signs that you are happy in a relationship???

Friends tell me that they can tell that FH and I really enjoy each other just by the way we interact. They say that we are always touching each other and trying to make eye contact.

yesterday fh and i were really annoyed at each other. i mean, really annoyed. but as we were arguing we were also laughing... at the end fh said, 'isn't it weird how even our fights are loving?' that's how i can tell that we're both happy as can be...

Smiling, laughing and joking when you are together. Listening, talking and communicating to each other. Sounds corny but its also just a feeling you have inside.

We laugh hysterically....and when we fight, usually over the phone since we don't live together, the second we see each other as mad as we both could be, we smile and can't help to, it's the strangest thing.....as mad as I am at him or him at me..when we first see each other after a fight, even if we hadn't made up at this point, we instictively smile and laugh

People tell us we have a healthy relationship because of the way we communicate with each. We never raise our voices in public (we like to keep the fighting behind closed doors ) And we always make direct eye contact when we talk.

Some signs...

A smile creeps onto my face every time someone asks me about my FH

We never fight and we've been living together since April. I attribute that to the fact that we are both pretty considerate of the other and both of us are willing to make compromises and put up with minor differences (for example, I hate how he washes dishes, but I try not to nag him about it)

We tell eachother we love one another at least once a day

People often say we look good together. That may not be a sign of happiness, but more of a sign of a 'match.'

I live with my FH and we still can't wait to see each other when he gets home from work. It's as if we haven't seen each other in such a long time. We do everything together, we can find some way to make it a funny experience doing food shopping at 11 pm. That's how I know life is going to be good with him.

But more than anything, no one makes me laugh like him, and no one makes him laugh like me. We are constantly cracking up at each other. I laugh my hardest with him.

I guess your happiness is even more confirmed when comments are made about it by your friends and how significantly happier and calm you are.

All in all I just enjoy his company so much!

We can't be apart from ecah other for too long I mean if we could spend every waking moment togather we would. Thats how I know he makes me happy because I can't be apart from him.

Definately having fun and making eachother laugh. Getting that 'happy feeling' for no reason, thinking about that person and smiling, knowing that they love you and you love them.

we get silly, do silly things. like dance and make up songs with eachother. We miss holding eachother when we are to busy to spend time together. We can be spontanious in our relationship, and it comes from the heart. We just act crazy together and aren't afraid of it.

I think for everyone it's something different. Jim and I aren't the types that will gaze lovingly into each other's eyes for hours. We're more the type to tackle one another or grab each other tushies when we walk by. I agree with everyone, I think its the little thing and thinking to yourself that out of all the men I've known/ been with, he is the man that I see as the best husband/ father and that he is willing to grow with me and encourage me to keep being independent no matter how hard I fall in love. I like that best, so far

We have our own language, literally and figuratively. There are words we have that are just ours and situations where we can communicate without words. I have never had that before as well as this feeling of security and blessing.
