What are some things you hate and love about this site?

What i love about this site is that everyone is so willing to help, there is an abundance of information at your fingertips, it has opened my mind to DIY a lot of things, everyone is so nice and have helped me tremendously with my wedding.

What i hate is people crashing a topic and not bringing any type of intelligent insight if you are crashing a topic on another board that means you have some valuable information, people acting like children and liars.

I like that there is tons of information on this site and so many girls are willing to share their information and help with many questions.

I hate that

1) ANYONE and EVERYONE can read EVERYTHING without even having an account.

2) You cant trust everyone

3) You really have to watch what you say- or people will use that information for their own gain

I just hate when a vendor that gets bad reviews because maybe they do bad business gets to pull the review so no one can see it. Its really not helping others.

I love that i get alot of info i may not get anywhere else.

I love that I found all the affordable and reliable vendors to use, i love all the contests on here bc ive been soo lucky... and seriously, its sooo nice to talk to others that know exactly what stress you're going through...

What i hate is the childish games that are played... finding out peoples true colors... girls who take things soo freakin seriously that anything and everything could be considered a travesty... but then again, its a site with a bunch of girls... its expected

I love the great ideas that I have gotten from being on this site and all of the vendors and information as well as gifts I have received. I am also really lucky to have met some really great friends!

I have to agree with the other posters that said the silly games, people's true colors and just nasty behavior that happens sometimes when a bunch of women are 'together!'

I like all the wedding chat....like debating colors and menu stuff..I like looking at everyone's ideas, dresses and diamonds.

I hate-that one of the vendors told my friend I bashed her wedding when all I did was talk about the maitre'd not being very nice. I said nothing but wonderful things about that wedding. And they pulled the post so I can't even show my friend what I wrote. AND PS she still hasn't called me back But she's busy with a new job, and her grandmother passed..but still.
Which is why I've backed off LIW quite a bit the past month. Sorry I just feel like I got beat up for no reason.

i love all the info i've found on this site....i found my rh bc of this site and im in love!
but i hate when girls post totally personal private topics! i think some things should not be public knowledge

Hate
-when posters say negative things
-name calling and being reminded of high school drama

Love: So many creative ideas, helpful people, love seeing pics of people's wedding related stuff.


Hate: That you don't have to sign up to view posts & that negative vendor posts don't stay up.

love: simply the girls,the advice and the great stories we all share.my wedding would def be crappy if it wasnt for u guys

hate: the smack talk behind peoples back...it really makes me wonder if people on here that i think like me and that i think are my friends are really not

AGreed!!!

Love all the inspiration and advice you ladies have given. Love that I have a place to go where it's wedding talk 24/7 - because let's face it - no one else EXCEPT another bride really wants to hear it. Love that I feel like I know all of you when we've never even met.

Hate the drama and some of the nasty things that have gone on.

I love all insipiration and great idea from this site. I love that I met some wonderful brides on here.

I hate the brides who are fake and post about nothing and useless information. I also hate the vendors who read our post or just plain snoop.

What a great post!!!

I love that as a NYC based bride I got such good advice that pointed me to a couple of vendors for each category which made the decison making so much easier. And I love reading some of the day to day stuff from regular people needing support. The LIW ladies make me smile so often.

I hate that some great vendors are black balled on here and you have to type their names in with cryptic code. I also hate that at times people get really political (during the election) or holier than though (about their careers) during this brutal economy. For me, this is a place to lose myself in wedding planning. Not to hear about how stupid one politician is or how unfair unions have it. I have to bite my tongue and shut down often because I don't want to offend anyone.

Love the ideas and support from everyone.

LOL wenches .... Im sorry but I havent heard that word in the LONGEST time!!

Love - The awesome friends I've made on here.
And I also love helping people if I can. I love seeing all the beautiful brides!

Hate - The drama starters, the posters who only have nasty negative things to say all the time.
The fact that my fh saw my wedding dress at twoty (oopss!!!! )
Hate the games of girls not answering someone elses post just because they don't like them. Also hate when people assume.
