What are some things you hate and love about this site?

What i love about this site is that everyone is so willing to help, there is an abundance of information at your fingertips, it has opened my mind to DIY a lot of things, everyone is so nice and have helped me tremendously with my wedding.

What i hate is people crashing a topic and not bringing any type of intelligent insight if you are crashing a topic on another board that means you have some valuable information, people acting like children and liars.

Gina- stop it!!! Everyone's confused. There was/still is a Latina Brides thread but it just got ugly....there's some new girls so maybe they will help it be fun and lighthearted again.

Great source of info, I can talk wedding related talk all day amongst people who want to do the same, love how funny/ crazy some of you are, love that we get excited over random things ( a card box, getting rsvps etc)

Hate:

I'll just say that I am an '09 Bride and I stick to the '09 board. Read between the lines on this one.

Some people don't realize that opinions are like ___ everyone has one....

and finally if I dont have anything nice to say I dont reply to a post. I wish some people would follow suit.

Love: an outlet for my desire to talk wedding, and the 'friendships' I've made with complete strangers, it's amazing for me, especially because I don't have many girl friends in real life.

Hate: Constantly getting logged out

the picture notification thing would be nice

That the boards aren't pw protected and that anyone can lurk...FH in particular, and it's gotten me in trouble a few times. Semi related, that vendors lurk on us, which is fine, unless it turns into when something you said is turned against you.

The popcorn that has been going on past few weeks I can do without. I have enough stress in my life than to get caught up in ficticious cat fights.

I like that there is tons of information on this site and so many girls are willing to share their information and help with many questions.

I hate that

1) ANYONE and EVERYONE can read EVERYTHING without even having an account.

2) You cant trust everyone

3) You really have to watch what you say- or people will use that information for their own gain

Oh!!! I hate- HATE the vendors read this and will confront you about it. I'm careful about what I write but seriously....to call someone and say 'I read on LIWeddings....'

Did you call me or give me a discount for giving you great press- no. Were you responsive when I tried to address concerns? No. But a post ruffled your feathers? Meh.
