I like that there is tons of information on this site and so many girls are willing to share their information and help with many questions.

I hate that

1) ANYONE and EVERYONE can read EVERYTHING without even having an account.

Oh!!! I hate- HATE the vendors read this and will confront you about it. I'm careful about what I write but seriously....to call someone and say 'I read on LIWeddings....'

Did you call me or give me a discount for giving you great press- no. Were you responsive when I tried to address concerns? No. But a post ruffled your feathers? Meh.

I was speakking with a vendor for the first time and he thought it would be cute to say 'i know you, you have balck hair right? i saw your post about us on liweds... why didnt you call us when you said you were going to in the post' and you seriously think im going to use you now? lol

Great source of info, I can talk wedding related talk all day amongst people who want to do the same, love how funny/ crazy some of you are, love that we get excited over random things ( a card box, getting rsvps etc)

I'll just say that I am an '09 Bride and I stick to the '09 board. Read between the lines on this one.

Some people don't realize that opinions are like ___ everyone has one....

and finally if I dont have anything nice to say I dont reply to a post. I wish some people would follow suit.

totally turned off... i had him on speakerphone and fh was listening and was like wtfffff i guess i just dont like it when a vendor is trying to act like my best friend where they can say anything to me upon inital phone call LOL PROFESSIONALISM people!!!!

I need to clarify something... i dont want the girls from the other years thinking that they cant come one and ask a question or so... bc that is NOT what we are talking about here...
There is a very specific situation that we are referencing!

I know that personally, if I didnt post on the 08 boards every once in awhile, I would be lost...please realize your posts and questions are welcome!

What I love is the support you get, even if you post a dumb little topic about how you ran out of ribbon or something..

What I used to hate were the catty people that used to be on this site. When I first came here I wasnt really aware of where to post what, and some people started harrassing me over that.. but they are gone now and all is well!

can i just say that 99% loves the site!! so my love for it FAR outweighs the part i hate.

love the help, ideas and sharing with helpful nice people

hate the mean girls that sometimes find you...and how you can just tell that they may be getting married, but they are still so in high school. somethings just never change. oh, and that it seems if people don't know you, they don't care enough to answer your posts or questions.

ETA: i should mention, this is not related to 09ers !!

lol me too I stay out of the drama but for some reason I tend to notice this. Like I said, could be because I lurk more than I post which is my fault.

Now I'm intentionally going to make sure I respond to anything you girls post
