I have not tackled a single DIY project yet. But I feel I should after reading all the stuff on the boards.
What are some of the DIY projects you are doing? If you have links to the stuff or pictures please post away :) I'm trying to get ideas and then do the ones I can.

Does anyone have directions on how to make votive placecards? In this scenario... are the votives replacing favors?
Can anyone elaborate what they are doing with the crypacks? Do you distribute them or leave on a table or something? How many do you make?

riniko - Thanks so much! There's a lot I still have to do to make them exactly how I envision them in my head, but they're coming along.
I don't have an exact price per invite just yet, mainly because I haven't decided on a printer or where I'm getting the paper from. Initial estimates show me that I won't really be saving too much money though. The reason I'm doing them is mostly because I didn't see anything pre-made that I really loved, and I wasn't willing to pay a designer to custom create something I knew I could do myself.
When I end up with a final cost I'll FM you.

Save the Date- Done Hotel information and directional cards-Done Invitations for Bridal Luncheon -Done Flower girl baskets 2 done have to do 2 more Cry Packs Bubbles with bow and labels - Done We Do letters Programs Slipper Baskets OOT Baskets Baskets for programs, cry packs, bubbles and bubbles have to line and decorate Every month do bridal newsletter Personalized gift bags for bridal party- Done Personalized Envelopes for bridal party- Done I think thats it right now possibly doing a vellum cover sheet for menus. oh I forgot making personalizd wood letters for the bridal party for their bouquets. and personalizing the flower girls baskets when Im done making them

cry packs - ETA We are inviting 149 people and making 100 cry packs to be handed out (from a basket I guess) I do not anticipate needing all 100 but that is the number of glassine envelopes that I am buying so I plan to just use all of them.

Kissing Bells - using jingle bells and satin ribbon plus a favor tag

programs - just a sample since we have not booked the hall, mine will have purple ribbon and probably different cover fonts
I am just deciding what things I can do on my own. The rest I will hire someone to take care of.
