After the ceremony, what are your guests going to be throwing at you and your groom?
I'm still trying to decide. I always thought raw rice was dangerous for wild birds, but after some research I have come to learn that that may only be a false rumor since they supposedly eat it all the time in the wild. But i'm still not sure.
So i guess maybe Rice is an option. I was also thinking flower pedals, but I don't really know how far that can be thrown. I feel like it'll just flop to the ground where they stand and not even make it toward me and FH. And then there's the idea of bubbles, but depending on the wind, that could go wrong too. Plus I'm nervous about getting soap on my dress. lol.
So what's everybody thinking?? I'm just curious of your ideas.

A lot of churches wont even let you have anything thrown. Consider yourself a lucky girl if they do. I wanted to do rose petals but since we can't we're doing bubbles.

We are throwing the lavender buds...I know they are going to get caught up in my hair but oh well!

I'm thinking we'll be using bubbles! I went to my Uncle's wedding where they did that and I thought it was lovely! And it doesn't make a mess either!

I'm def doing rose petals. I'm not allowed to decorate the church with flowers but this has to be done! lol

I don't think I am going to really do anything. Were going to have a receiving line and then once we have greeted everyone most likley head back into the church for pictures or take pictures outside the church in the front and stuff. My cousin didn't have anything and everyone just cheered it was nice.

My sister in law said she picked rice out of her hair all day long. Just to bubbles.
My church does not permit raw rice because it is very easy to slip on the church steps the following days, while the steps are covered in rice. Not the bird myth that they eat the rice and explode lol.

I'm not having anything thrown, I dont want rice or those sugar things. And my church doesn't allow rose petals. And I don't want bubbles.

I'm not having anything to throw but bells for everyone to ring... my late grandparents helped pay for the church bell and I thought it was a nice tribute and no mess!

we r doing the petals..our church said we cannot theow rice and i wanted to do bubbles but i was toldif it gets on ur dress it will stain so we decoded to just go with the petals
