What are the 'occupational hazards' at your job?

This is totally silly, but I get about a dozen papercuts a day!

There is a risk of dying from Boredom.

Breathing in other peoples air. There are no windows that can open.

I think being a teacher is an occupational hazard in itself

Re: What are the 'occupational hazards' at your job?

Cleaning puke
Finding dirty diapers in seatback pockets Throwing out my back when big burly men ask me to put their bag up
Getting hurt by aforementioned big burly man when he falls on me while insisting on using the restroom while the seatbelt sign is on
Getting poked in the butt-cheek by little old ladies who want me to take their garbage Spraining my wrists from wringing the necks of parents who think it's cute to let their 'adorable' 2 year old ring the flight attendant call button over and over and over again.....

Can you tell I just got back from working a trip?

Our office is just WAAAAAY too small, everyone is always tripping over files and paperwork. There are 8 people in an office fit for 5. They just got rid of our door to the courtyard and made it all windows THAT DON'T OPEN. In the summertime we are going to roast in here, I'm not looking forward to it

I'm always banging my knee on the drawer part on my desk, really hard.
Stupid and annoying people too.
And they never clean here because they keep thinking it's an abandoned building.

Boredom and carpal tunnel syndrome because I have almost no work to do and am constantly clicking away on the mouse.

I admire you. I have always said that I thought being a flight attendant is one of the most difficult jobs around. People think because they paid for a ticket that you have become their personal servant for 5 hours. I appreciate you all.....

Don't mean to gross anyone out so early in the morning...but our coffee maker is one of my biggest OH's: no one cleans out the old grounds (it's one of those big machines that makes a cup at a time and drops the old grounds to a bin. After a few days mold develops and winds up in the coffee because the bin runs over into the spout. YUCK!

I always thought being a fight attendant was such a fun and glamorous job. Now I have a new appreciation for how hard it is. Next time I'm on a plane, I'll be EXTRA nice to the flight attendants..although I'm usually rpetty nice On my first flight back form disney I was wearing my tigger ears and flight attendants called me tigger the whole time. I loved it
