What are these newletters everyone is talking about??

How do you do one?? DO you need a Publisher Program...or are you getting it professionally done??

I know that I am making a wedding newsletter to pass out at my wedding... I am a graphic designer... so I make my own with QuarkXPress...

They are going to be rolled up and placed at everyone's table setting at the reception... I have had friends who also rolled them up and placed them in a basket at the reception... (id anyone is using Duet, there is a pic of them in their sample album!!)

they tell you who is in the wedding party and their relation to the couple, explain any traditions that happened during the ceremony, have a couple's timeline of from when they first met, and so on, a did you know about the bridal party (with really fun, wierd facts), a paragraph on where they are going for the honeymoon, the couple's new address if there is one, a picture, a thank you section and i think that is about it...

Is this instead of a program or in addition to a program? I think it has a very personal touch.
