across the street from the Source mall in westbury/garden city?

those apts? townhomes/condos? is a big project and still no signs yet of what it is.

i knew the county was putting together affordable houseing but i didnt think that was it

I think it is Townehouses. I saw that on Sunday and was curious too.

I believe they are townhouses ... I can't remember what the sign says.

Maybe the affordable housing is what they are building across from the Westbury LIRR station [where the Piping Rock (not sure if that's what it was called) used to be on the corner]

I don't think it's low income. It shows they are Archstone apts. They are big in Virginia, thats where we're looking to move to. Our friend lives in a Fairfax one. They're nice.

But I think its a horrible location!

I thought they were for the over 55 community.

It's such an awkward place for housing though.

there is a senior building a short distance from this new place...plus its soooo big!
