ahhhh I remember the good old days when big plans were made for this. This year, who knows lol. DH calls it amateur night he was one of those people who was big into the party scene and went out a couple times a week and when i even bring up thanksgiving eve he laughs and says thats the one night he didnt go out bc it was for amateurs oh well i had fun when i did go.

LOL me too we are getting to old to go out and having a kid kinda puts a damper on the whole going out thing......
all good though i'd rather spend the time with my daughter than out a a club or bar

I went to mulcahey's in wantagh for thanksgiving eve a few years ago. We had a great time but it was insanely crowded! But I guess everywhere gets like that!

yea I know last year we went to mary carols in babylon and it was craaazy we couldnt move

lol i will admit that it kinda is amateur night. I used to go to city clubs and the moment you even got close to the club, you saw a club with a line going down the whole block. I remember one time I parked in a parking lot across the street and the entrance to the club was by the corner but we saw the line ended halfway down the block lol, i walked up to people on the line and asked how long they have been waiting and they said 1 hour i said oh no not happening. We saw someone going through this side entrance and joked with the guy we'll give him $5 to let us in, he thought it was so funny that we said $5 lol that he let us in through the side entrance which was the entrance into vip, we got upstairs and Jeter was right there. AHHHH that was a good thanksgiving eve

but last year we did a local bar in astoria and had a great time. The city does become too many young kids who dont usually go out and then gets too hectic and just not worth it.

Dh probably wouldnt be caught dead at a club in the city on thanksgiving eve, it would take away from his coolness
