our board is a little dead so I thought I'd check in with my fellow 2015 brides and see what everyone is working on, I'm starting to feel a little overwhelmed.
I work alot so there is not alot of down time. I have an appointment with photo/video thurs (I should say 2nd appointment) hopefully then we can finalize our decision! then I have to get us over to the church! I've been putting this of the most!! we aren't very religious, we don't go to church, I'm so afraid of what they are going to say and if we will have any problems!
after that I think I'll let the holidays pass and I'll meet with the dj and limo company that come with my package. and somewhere in between I have to do my long list of diy stuff!

We booked our church, venue and photographer/videographer. That is it for now. After the new year I will start looking for the other stuff. Right now I am just doing tons of research online trying to find ideas. I'm on a mission to find a good DIY centerpiece. It is so much fun it will be here before we all know it :)

I'm addicted to pintrest! lol so I know what u mean. I went with an all inclusive package so I just have to pick vendors. I need an extra limo so I'll b shopping for that bc if the place I get is too expensive ill know where else to go!

Oh pinterest... I can be on there for hours!! LOL I am not sure where you are located but I have heard great things about Sir Oliver Limo in Ronkonkoma. That is who I am probably going to go with.

I booked venue and church... that in itself was a pain!!! looking at photographer and dj now! I feel like everyone keeps saying 'oh you have so much time' or 'you have to get going on XYZ if you want anyone good.'- is everyone else getting that? or am i just lucky..

It doesnt hurt to book early because think about it you know what you need to save and can start making payments. We knew we wanted East Wind and our church and the photographer we really liked and got a great quote (Marco Photography). Now we don't have to worry about that stuff and can focus on all the other stuff that needs to be done. I do get the 'oh you have so much time' or 'Why are you waiting so long...' comments. You are not the only one. We have to enjoy this time its the best time of our lives.

I posted that the other day! I want to just scream shut up u have no idea what I have planned to do!
there isn't enough time Ib the day to get to all these places! in this sense I'm glad I did the all inclusive package, I couldn't handle sh opping around for more then I have too!

I booked a bunch of stuff over the summer, right now i'm just working and finishing my pediatrics rotation but my next projects will start in June when i go hunting for a dress, makeup and hair person, bridesmaids dresses, photographer and probably some other stuff...but for now i'm with christinechristian...PINTREST! lots and lots of pintrest lmao

What would we do without Pinterest? LOL I feel bad for the people who got married before Pinterest. How many months before the wedding should we order dresses? Our dresses and the bridesmaids? I know I am going to have to start looking soon because I am very picky LOL

I posted something about that timeline on the bride's board. bc someone told me 11 months... but the bride's on here told me the most was 6 months... I'm not taking chances I'm seeing in March 1 year mark! as soon as I get my dress im gonna go for bridesmaid dresses! we just went shopping though bc my matron of honor was here from Florida so we have a good idea if what we all like.

We were undecisive.. Either purples or fall colors... But the more I've been looking on Pinterest I like more of the purple ideas lol

this is the first thing we decided. this is a long story.... before fh even proposed he asked be what colors I wanted, I told him blue. burgundy or red he asked me if I can do green......I immediately responded eww green why green I hate green.... he said it was my late mother's fav color( insert for in mouth!!) luckily for me 2 mins later a cat drive by us and st the same time ever said that's a nice color car ( teal) it hit me... lets do teal as a compromise ( green your mom's fav and blue both our fav they make tral) he agreed!! thank God! lol

theme.... are u guys ready for this... your going to think we r crazy!
we are getting married in Friday the 13th so we are going to do a suspicious theme almost like we can bet all odds theme.
I'm going wooden table number with broken mirrors glued on them (saw it on pintrest actually it's very pretty... every table is going to be num 13 a,b,c etc to tell the difference. and fh is going to open an umbrella for our grand entrance. oh snd fh is going to make a ladder arch way for us to walk under and sit under! :)

I have allot of diy projects so I'll be busy! I was hoping to have met with all my vendors before thanks giving but that didn't happen! and fh just made me cancel thurs appointment for photo!! grr hope she is available tomorrow!

Glad to see our board is starting to get a little more active! Right now I'm working on finding a DJ (I'm open to suggestions if anyone has). We booked venue, church and photography/videography. We don't really have a theme but our colors will be dark purple and silver/gray. I'm super excited to start looking at dresses but I think that won't happen until after the new year. I might become obsessed with dress shopping so I'm trying to get other things done first.
