I wanted to know what brides ARE ACTUALLY DOING . Thank you!
For example: I am NOT: Making baskets for out-of-towners, nor for the bathroom. OR making STD cards. No bubbles, no disposable camera, etc. No Candy Buffet...No custom Isle runner, no 'bride/groom' sweater/hats/etc. stuff. No Ice carving, no renting of linens, Keeping guest list to under 125 (hope total count is 75-100), Possible no limos (Ceremony at RH)...haven't decidied, no 'formal bridal party' just my fiance's kids walk, no program menus, no cry packs, no 'we do' letters, no Unity Candle.
I AM DOING DIY Custom projects: Invites, Card Chest, Ring Pillow, Sign-in book w/pen, Cake Topper, Table CP, Favors, Bride & Groom toasting glasses, table numbers, place cards, cake servers

no persoanlized napkins... no cady bar..... i DIY my menus ( very simple ones) non extravagant invites no photobooth ( i wanted this so bad) no DJ lighting or plasma screens no OOT bags no custom aisle runner no linens no ice sculpture no extras added for CH um...thats pretty much tt lol
I haggled with EVERY vendor it doesnt hurt trust me! and bought alot of stuff on ebay

No STD's No lighting No sweatshirts/hats etc No OOT bags No aisle runner(custom) No Viennese hour No cake topper No menus No 2nd photographer No slipper baskets No cardbox I know theres more but im drawing a blank right now

I am not having a rehersal dinner. I don't think it's necessary. I didn't have an engagement party either, but we didn't want one.

No: STD (I have been talking about this for 2 years all know when it is) Isle Runner Unity candle Programs Bubbles (I hate them) Greeting line (what ever they call that out side of the church to say hi, I got things to do) Cameras on the table MC (I hate them they are really annoying) Video NO GROUP DANCING!!!!!!!!!!! White wedding cake (FH picked chocolate frosting) Cake Topper Menu cards (Um your server can tell you what you can pick) Garter/Bok throwing Viennese hour OOT Bag And I think that is it......now that I think about it these things really don't cost that much $ so I am not saving I just hate these things (not that there is anything wrong with them I just don't like them, its ok if someone else is doing them )
