cake knife and server set after the wedding? My sis just used the reception hall's own because she said she wasn't going to use it after the wedding..but I want one.

I dont have a cake server now (which is ironic because I usually bake at least one cake a week!) so I'm going to get a practical set I can use all the time.

im going to save it ... probably put it on display in my dining room cabinet (when i have a dining room and a display cabinet )
but it is sentimental and my aunt and grandmother bought me my toasting glasses and cake cutting set as soon as i got engaged ... so its even more special

we're just going to use the halls. i feel like a special knife to cut the cake is one of those things that is thrown in their to make us spend more money on things we won't use again. not worth it to me.

Someone bought a beautiful one for us so we're going to just keep it, I'll probably use it for serving cake. I hate for things to go to waste and not be functional.
