Is anyone giving the CPs away after the wedding to a good cause? i.e nursing home, hospital etc...
Some of our guest took what they could of our CP's. The rest got thrown out. Our CH food That didn't make it out to the guests) was boxed and donated to a local food bank. The truck was waiting outside the kitchen to pick it up. It was one thing DH really wanted!
Thanks. I remember seeing an article in a bridal mag about a non-profit organization that comes to get the flowers and then send them to shelters, hospices, etc. Does anyone know anything about that?
we had starlight express do a funny game to raffle off the CPs we had about 4 left at the end of the night because we had a lot of people staying at a hotel so they couldnt take theirs...so my family took the rest home
Our DJ played a game to give away the CPs. Those that didn't get taken home were thrown out, I guess. We took our centerpiece home with us and just threw it out this morning.

OUr guests took it home. Pedestals sent 2 guys to come at the end of the night and each cp, they split it and wrapped it up for our guests. So this way not just one person at a table got it but several ppl at each table were able to take some flowers home. The vases belonged to the florist so nobody was able to take those home.
our guests were figting over ours... we had 14 and they were GONE once the party winded down. My mom didnt even get to have one!! LOL

My centerpieces were not amything anyone could take home because they were minimal flowers and primarily crystals and glass fusion....Despite that, we were able to re-use them the next morning for our 2nd day brunch. It was really nice being able to see them again the next morning!
