What are you doing with your dress after the wedding?

I tried to think of different scenerios this weekend as to when I could be able to wear my dress after the wedding haha. Wondering what you gals will be doing with it?

Anyone thinking of doing the trash the dress photoshoots? Or are you keeping it for the future?

I'm going to donate it to Brides Against Breast Cancer. My sister paid an arm and a leg to have hers preserved and now its just a big box that takes up room in her closet. I figure if someone can wear it again AND the money goes to a good cause, then that works for me!

My aunt sews quilts and she can take the dress and use it to make all different patches and then make it into a quilt for me! I want to save some the train to make make a christening bonnet for our babies and there is a way to clip some of the stitches on the bonnet so that it will become a hankie for their wedding day! My mom had my dads Christening bonnet as her hankie on her wedding day! So sweet!

i have NO idea...it costs so much to preserve it. maybe i'll donate...who knows. i wanted to wear my mom's dress but it wasn't preserved well so maybe I can preserve mine JIC my future daughter (if i have one) can wear it
