I love sand dollars and the whole meaning behind them, so I was thinking of doing sand dollars. Plus my wedding kind of has this beach thing going on and it is not only going to be there favor but it will be there place card as well which we will display in trays that we will make and would put sand in. I am going to tie a ribbon through the hole so it can be hung on their christmas tree, well at least that is what i thought!!!javascript:FEmote('');

We plan on doing a donation, one for a young boy who passed away in my neighborhood and one for the USO for my FBIL who is in the Marines being that it is on Veteran's Day.

We are doing donations for our godchildren.
One to Autism Speaks and the other to
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

And making heart shaped rice krispie treats (my fave) covered in white chocolate and lil pearls.

Also added a photo booth, so the pictures too!

We are giving out personalized glasses from discountmugs.com

I am ordering personalized shot glasses from discount mugs too.

I changed my mind so many times, I sent them clip art and designed it myself. I should receive them around the 12th..(biting nails)

I will fill them with some sort of candy and a ribbon.

we had a photobooth, and then gave each guest a photo album. the cover was a frame, so we put a tag in there telling them to use the photobooth!! (and thanking them for coming)

This is a great idea!

how did you get everyonesa recipes?
did you let them know you were sharing them with other people?

i am putting a little note in with our Save the dates asking for a few recipes. I didnt tell them what it is for just said that its a surprise.
I know a lot of ppl ask for recipes at the shower but that would be to close to the wedding since the books need like 2 months to print.

It sounds like a lot of work but i think its such a great idea and hopefully something people will use and not just toss

That is such an awesome idea!!!
