we typically get each other a bunch of random items like clothing or gadgets. His mom is getting us a wii so I am guessing i'll be including a bunch of games.

nothing big since we're saving for the wedding still and it will only be a little under 3 months away at that point....maybe even nothing store-bought, more along the lines of something homemade and crafty. We'll see.

he's a huge notre dame football fan (even though he never attended), and i wanted to get him a pen (or bottle opener) that played the team's fight song, but the website doesn't have them in stock
maybe i'll buy him a dress shirt instead

i don't know if mind travelling a bit. For FH's birthday I got us couples massage at the Elemis Spa at Mohegan sun. It was so good. And you get to use all their facilities for the day. We took to ferry to CT, from there it's only a 20 min. drive.

I love Oasis day spa in the city, there are two, the one I like is not in the Affinia Hotel, its on 34th and I think Madison Ave.

It's hard since his bday is a month after xmas, so while I have ideas I'm not sure how I'm going to break things up between the two.
I'd like to get him Quicken (he keeps track of all of his finances on excel right now), a frame for an off-size poster he's been wanting to frame for ages, possibly a new video game or two, ummm... i still need some more ideas
