What Are You Giving FH for a Wedding Present

1) What are you giving?
2) How much do you intend to spend?
3) How long will you be saving for it?
4) If you have joint bank accounts (like I do) how will you keep him from knowing about it?

I will be a year away from the wedding in September so I am starting to think about this now so I can save for it.

For Christmas last year I bought him 2 tickets to watch Pittsburgh play in the NFL Championship game. This included airfare and hotel so, I told him this was his wedding gift!

I agree with most of the girls here. We are spending so much money on the wedding. If I had the money laying around I would but him something 'nice'

I did buy him a photo charm of his parents (both are deceased) from www.kimbrastudios.com and I plan on giving that to him a few days prior to the wedding. I don't want to upset him the day of.

But, I do want him to open something the day of so, for now I think I might just get him something really inexpensive like the 'just married' flip flops. He really seems to get a kick out of that!

i bought him a Movado watch as his gift. it was like $350 i think

I was going to do Boudoir pictures and give him an album. They cost $500. But with all the wedding costs, we decided to just get eachother something on the HM.

No gifts for me either. My family and I are paying for the wedding, not FH or his family so that's the gift!!

I would love to get one another special gifts but paying for the wedding, honeymoon, etc is a lot so I have told him that I dont feel it's necessary. I figured it would be even more special to get one another special gifts for our one year anniversary. Hopefully I could get him a nice watch.

we haven't made a decision on exchanging gifts yet, but if i do...Bottle of Johnny Walker Blue and 2 monogrammed glasses

changed my mind...think i'll get him a watch instead

I don't know what to get him yet. I'm having a tough time getting gifts for everyone. I really do want to get hima gift. It doesn't have to be expensive, just special.

We went to Jackson Hole for our honeymoom.

We bought a framed photograph by a famous Jackson Hole photographer (Thomas Mengelsen) taken in Grand Teton National Park as a rememberance of our honeymoon.

It is hanging in our home now.

I BOUGHT HIM HIS SEASON TICKET TO THE GIANTS. IT WAS VERY EXPENSIVE BUT HES WORTH IT ! (HE WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT FOR HIMSELF IF I DIDNT BY IT FOR HIM. )

I got him a new watch because he really wanted it but I think we spent a little too much money on gifts for eachother. Hopefully our savings account will bounce back after this year
