what are you going to do with your gown after the wedding?
keep it & hope your future daughter wears it for her day? Sell? Donate? What will you do?
I love my gown but I dont think my (future) daughter would wear it. It'll probly look dated by then!

sit around in it while eating until it doesn't fit me so i dont feel so bad that it doesn't fit anymore.
i'll probably do dishes in the freakin thing. all that money for one day....but i love it so much.

Sell that sucker! :) Or-see if my sister wants to wear it, shes a 2011 bride. I doubt she'd go for that though.....

I am definitely going to wear it to bed every night. lol it does look like sort of an old fashioned night gown. just super fancy. stick an oil lamp in my hand and i'm good to go.

LOL I already have my dress up for sale!!!!!!!
My sis made her daughters christening dress out of hers-- it was reallly nice, but I dont have the patience to do that!

i'm going to clean out my walk in and just hang it in there so i can stare at it everyday . . . plus my 7 year old sister is obssessed w/ it and tells me how much she wants to wear it when she gets married

Donate it. There are so many brides out there that can't afford a dress, and I didn't spend a huge fortune on it so I guess I'm not -as- attached to it.

Me too. I'd be thrilled to know I made someone's wedding day special. I just know that I'm a klutz and keep having nightmares I'll spill something on it!!

maybe make a christening dress or outfit out of it and keep it in the family
my aunt actually made me a wedding bag out of part of hers

I'm going to do a Day After Shoot (and not the day after either), so I don't want to preserve it right away.
But after that I'm going to preserve it and hopefully I can use the lace to make a christening gown for my kids one day.

You ladies gave me a great idea about making it into a christening outfit for the babies. So I might do that and just make whatever I can out of it for the kiddies.
