what are you guys using for ur first dance song?

My FH and I have absolutely no idea what to choose for our song. We don't even like the same music. He's a country boy I like pretty much anything but howvwer its growing on me. What r u guys using. Do u have any suggestions. We aren't sure if we should go slow or maybe something slightly upbeat (sorry kinda long)

we still haven't been able to agree on one - half of the songs on this thread I have brought up to him and he is like ... ehh.

Crash by Dave Matthews

Steady as we go by DMB is also beautiful!

We LOVE that song! It's definately getting played at the wedding.

We're having 'love of a lifetime' it's so 80's but the first time we heard it together fh looked over at me and said 'I could see us dancing to this at our wedding'--that was 5 years ago!

Ahhhh I looooove that song and we were STRONGLY considering it. FH ended up deciding he didn't want to go there because of the line about going home after the wedding and making love like a true companion. He was embarrassed.

He loves the song and plays it on his guitar for me all the time... I think its a great way to start our new life together - 'we can do anything together' -is just perfect!!
