having about 200 guests so thought it would be best and with intros and running the other things

I just didn't want the DJ to be distracted with having to make announcements or whatever.

Also, we needed someone who is bilingual and make the annoucements in both languages - just kinda more work for the DJ.

i wanted the MC because i fell like the party would have more direction - like he would say when to do the first dance, when people can join in , cutting the cake, etc

we are having a dj and a mc. i know my dj so i got a break on everything.
