What are you having thrown at you after the ceremony?

I'm thinking confetti and rose petals. Not sure if I want to add bubbles too.

I am probably going to do rose petals. I don't like the bubbles. I am worried about them staining my dress.

I just called my church and they informed me that we are not allowed to throw anything. They said we can use bubbles, but I don't want them to stain my dress. So I guess this is one place we will be saving money!

Rose petals. I would stick to one thing. Also, check with your ceremony location on the confetti. I can only throw petals or birdseed.

Planned on bubbles. Wrapped each one with a bow and a rose to match the theme. It was so cold that we didn't want to spend anymore time outside, ended up just leaving them outside. Some people took some, most didn't. We have a ton of them left over now.

probably rose petals because i love pictures where the petals are thrown out side the church and the picture is in black and white and the petals are in color (or something like that).

I was thinking rose petals but need a backup plan in case it rains.... ...then again, no one would want to have to stand in the rain.

Has anyone had an issue with the rain interfering with your post-ceremony exit? Does everyone just haul a $$ out of there to the RH?

throw stuff anyway! i can't tell you how many friends weddings i've been to where they weren't allowed to throw anything---and rose petals were thrown anyway.

what are they gonna do? unmarry you? lol it's over and done with at that point!
