We had rose petals. This is the ABSOLUTE best pic I have (but it was of course taken by an LIW bride, so how could it not be the best?).

I want to do rose petals, but I heard a rumor that my church doesn't allow it. Since it will be dark, I'd love to do those long sparklers!

I just called my church and they informed me that we are not allowed to throw anything. They said we can use bubbles, but I don't want them to stain my dress. So I guess this is one place we will be saving money!

throw stuff anyway! i can't tell you how many friends weddings i've been to where they weren't allowed to throw anything---and rose petals were thrown anyway.

what are they gonna do? unmarry you? lol it's over and done with at that point!

We can't throw a darn thing, can't even blow bubbles. But that's okay- instead of ribbon wands- we're doing navy and white pennants for my Yankee theme!!! I can't wait! I hope they come out great!
