What are you making for your wedding?

Just curious to know how many crafty DIY brides we have here... see if I get any ideas too.

I am making menus, tissue envelopes for the church, RD invites, poems for parents and BP.

The only thing that I am doing by hand is putting bows with tags on my favors. I am suprised that I am even doing that-I am not so crafty..

Re: What are you making for your wedding?

I personally am making my STD's and place cards. My Dad is making our favors, my grandfather is making our ribbons and either my grandmother or a friend of hers is making our pew bows. FH and I are going to try to carve pumpkins to spread throughout the cocktail hour. Oh, yeah and I'm going to do the RD invitations and programs. The craftiness totally skipped my generation, I wish I could do more.

Programs and the candle place cards. I may do RD invites, not sure yet. I'm not too crafty so that's all I'm doing.

I like to do crafty things, but I'm not very good at it, so I'm not taking any chances. Professionals all the way for me!!! The only semi-exception is that we are using the computer to print the envelopes for the invites.

I have made my STD, flower girl baskets, ringbearers pillows and garters. I will also be doing my programs and centerpieces (w/ silk flowers and candles).

I made the menus, the wishbowl, & the signing frame.

I will be making the candle place'cards', the chocolates that will be part of my favors, and the billboard for the ceremony and the table numbers/pictures.

I am going to do the candle place cards. I also have to put together our candy tins. I have to put the clear stickers with our names on it on the glass top. Does that count????

He made the CD favors. I made my veil for a fraction of the cost than what they charge in the store, and I made the ring brarer pillows.....People cant believe I made them. It cost me about 10 bucks and the ones is the store that were a quarter of the size of mine were 35-50 dollars! whooohooo!
