I think this is a cute idea, I went to a wedding thispast fall and the tables were named after places they had visited together (they are heavy travelers)

i used words like love, hope, destiny, etc ... i had 40 tables so I needed a lot of words. The whole list is here - table names

After counties in Ireland. We have an Irish theme, and we are going there for HM

i'm doing types of wine (merlot, pinot noir... etc)

we're doing an 'our songs' theme. Sorta like 'love songs' but they're songs that are important to us and that will be used throughout our day. On one side with be the song and lyrics, on the other will be a little blurb about why we chose this song, and what it means to us. Also, there will be a little note about going to other table to find out about our other songs. Hopefully that will get some mingling between tables.

We did words having to do with marriage (respect, trust, fidelity, etc) in Italian.

My finance is a huge movie buff and wants to name them after funny movies...ex dumb&dumber, the jerk....not a huge fan, but he got REALLY excited that he came up with the idea, so i couldn't say no! ( :
