What are you spending on invitations and enclosures?

Original post by sarahradio5

I just got off the phone with Kerri from envelopme.com.... soooooooooo nice! They do custom invitations (pocketfold invitations). Anyway... I don't know pricing, so does this seem reasonable?

175 Thermography printed invitations, rsvp cards, reception cards, direction cards, accomodation cards, printed outer envelopes, printed rsvp envelopes).

I'm getting an ivory 7x7 square invitation (iridescent ivory border around the invite) that will be attached to the center of the burgundy pocketfold. There will be a translucent overlay attached to the invitation, with my FH's last intial 'engraved' on it, so you can see the invitation wording underneath, but you flip it up to see it better). The bottom flap of the pocketfold will contain the rsvp card, accomodation card, direction card and reception card.

I think it sounds so pretty... and the invites would come out to about 6.60 per invitation... $1149.90 total for the 175. Is that a lot?

Has anyone ever used envelopme.com?

Wow!
There is such a price disparity with the invitations....

Can anyone tell me why they think that is?

coming from someone who hasn't even looked into invitations yet!

I could use the advice!

Thanks!

I got 100 5x7 pocketfolds for $500. That includes all the printing (thermography) and 2 enclosures.
Also, just so you know, to send square invitaions will cost you more in postage than rectangular ones.

where did you get yours from?
