The rest of the wedding party is walking down to Pachibel's 'Canon in D'--I know it's almost a cliche, but I love that piece, it was my favorite thing to play on the cello back when I played. I'm walking to Wagner's 'Bridal Chorus.' Very traditional. However, our recessional is going to be U2's 'Beautiful Day.' Not very traditional!

I believe the organist can play Trumpet Voluntary Clarke...but I'm not sure about Canon in D. We are also having a violinist...so I know they will be able to play it. Why don't you ask your church. They will know for sure.

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna get in touch with my church and find out. There was a problem since the Pastor left the church, so it was hard to get someone on the phone. I'll check tomorrow!

They can definitely play both...they're both very standard choices for wedding music.

My BP is walking down to Sleepers Awake (well I'm not sure if my organist knows this ) or Sheep May Safely Graze (both by Bach) You should listen to these on www. w edalert.com...they're beautiful!!
And I'm walking down to Trumpet Voluntary!
