Hey Ladies - Is anyone walking down to Canon in D - Pachelbel? It seems like traditionally the bridal party walks down to that, and the bride walks down to the Bridal March/Chorus. ...I REALLY like the thought if walking down to Canon in D....thoughts?

Re: What are you walking down to....
I'm walking down with the traditional bridal chorus. However, i've been to 2 weddings where the bride walked down to Canon in D and it was beautiful, so if you like it I say go for it

I would LOVE to walk down to Canon in D but I think my mom would have a heart attack if I didn't walk to the bridal chorus. I guess we'll have to see as it gets closer!

I'm walking down to Canon in D. My guitarist actually sent me a sample today of his arrangement for it, and it nearly had me in tears it was so beautiful. I've always known it would be the song I would walk down the aisle to the moment my seventh grade music teacher played it on the piano, lol.
So I say definitely walk down to Canon if it's make that moment much more memorable to you.

If the church does not allow me to use the song I would like to walk down to (it's not a 'church' song') than I will be walking down to Canon in D.. actually I am having the entire BP walk down to it. I think it's totally fine to walk down to the same song - I'm personally not a fan of the traidtional Here Comes the Bride march.

I had a string quartet. I walked down to Cannon in D and the bridal party walked down to Aerosmith's Don't Wanna Miss a Thing. It was really beautiful!

Really? I always felt that way about the 'here comes the bride' song, it has that marching beat to it, where Canon feels more like a glide.

cannon in d is beautiful and i think it's a great choice to walk down the aisle to.
i'm not doing the traditional wedding march either- i'm going to do an acoustic version of 'if i fell' by the beatles.

Re: What are you walking down to....
I knew from day one that I would not be walking to the traditional wedding march. I am thinking of walking down to Canon D because its beautiful! For the bridal party I have thought of the instrumental version on 'heaven,' not sure yet.
