Hey Ladies - Is anyone walking down to Canon in D - Pachelbel? It seems like traditionally the bridal party walks down to that, and the bride walks down to the Bridal March/Chorus. ...I REALLY like the thought if walking down to Canon in D....thoughts?

I think someone on here wrote they either walked or are walking down to somewhere over the rainbow...I loveeee that. That is my favorite movie of all time so I think I might have to steal that idea!

Angn..thank you so much for understanding and not using profanities towards me.. I am actually a very nice kind and gentle, understated person. Was just joking...yes, i am pretty new here and that sure was some kind of welcome!!!
Thanks for understanding and telling me the proper 'jargon' for sarcasm! I appreciate it!
Again, my apologies...
BTW.. joking aside...Canon IS a beautiful song!1 Very romantic and sets a lovely tone for a wedding....

canon in D????? how cliche... i would never walk down to that...
there are so many beautiful pieces of classical music to chose from. Step out of the box!!!! LIsten to a wedding sampler CD or websites for string quartets to get ideas. It may take a little extra effort..but its sometimes nice to hear something 'differen' for a change...lol
By virtue, if something is on a 'wedding sampler CD' I wouldn't consider it 'different' by any means, right?
I love Canon in D!
LOL hahaha i didn't even think of that, you're 100% correct. this person is R-U-D-E!

Being a bit*h face????? how cliche... I would never insult others choices for THEIR wedding...
There are so many ways to express one's opinion without sounding like a douche. Learn some tact!!!! Grow up or go learn some manners to get ideas. It may take a little extra effort.. but it's sometimes nice to be nice and something 'different' other than a snob for a change....lol
hahaha stole the words right out of my mouth! you're awesome!

Re: What are you walking down to....
I wanted something traditional, basically my whole wedding is. If Canon in D is too cliche or not outside of the box, so be it. Traditional and classic is what I'm going for.

I'm also not a fan of the traditional march. I am walking down the aisle to Pachelbel Canon D and the Bridesmaids are walking down to Jesu, Joy of Man's desiring by Bach. Its softer than canon D and very pretty and light.

It's an oldie - and my guests loved it!! And we walked out to 'Then he kissed me'

Re: What are you walking down to....
I found a string quartet version of 'All you need is love' by the Beatles. Its really pretty.
I want my bridesmaids to walk down to somewhere over the rainbow also but the version by 'Israel Kamikow' .. it sounds more beachy,
