OK, I FM'd you about your othe rpost, but then just realized you posted this twice, so I copies my post here & will delete the other one. -------------------------------------- The bridal shop didn't suggest anything? I am going to get a brasellette. It hink its just a fancy name for a long line bra. They gave me oen to try on w/ the dresses, but it wasn't my exact size so I didn't buy it.
They are more supportive than a regular strapless. I'm not sure if I'll leave the attached garter straps or wear regular pantyhose. I've worn thigh highs before & the straps make me feel like a marionette.

You need stockings, a garter belt, those skirt things that make your dress poofy. Long lined bra(my dress is off the shoulder), and underwear of course

i got this bustier thing - it's really supportive and it holds everything in
You don't neccessarily need a crinoline. Depends on your dress. Mine has some in it, so I don't want any extra pouf!

Does anyone know where I can get the longline bra with the underwear attached, more like a strapless, supportive bodysuit? I am afraid the space between the panties and bra will show.

Not sure yet though- I am going to have cups sewn into my dress to eliminate wearing a bra.
I hate undergarments- can you tell? (Im not sure if on my wedding day I will give in or not?)

I got my bra at Mary's Corsetierre in Woodbury...very helpful...they took one look at the pic of my dress and knew what bra I should wear.
I might be doing thigh highs for when I wear my shoes and then I'm changing to sneakers....so maybe sox....but before we leave the reception, I want to put on the garters and pantyhose to be all sexy

I wish I could go without a bra, but that would be dangerous, FI would want to go straight to the HM after the ceremony I'm also debating whether to wear stockings or not. Like thigh highs without garter straps. We'll see. Is Estelles the lingerie place on LI?

I'm with you, girl! I HATE undergarments , too.. so confining!
However, I do definitely need a bra, or one of those longline thingys that was posted here ... I'm leaning towards an 'off the shoulder' dress too (haven't quite decided yet!) I personally would love to forgo stockings altogether, mostly b/c of not wanting to get hot during my late july wedding!

I'm with you guys...undergarments suck. I think I'll be going completely necked - seriously! No hose, and will have cups sewn into the dress; the top is tight-fitting, so hopefully that should be enough support.

I spoke with a past bride on this issue. She warned me not to wear thigh highs because your thighs will rub together and it makes for a sore legs (for us big girls). Something to keep in mind.

I had cups sewn in, wore a thong, a crinoline & garters (to throw & keep) and had pantyhose but with Steve from Patken, he poses you on the ground, so my hose got destroyed, i had the extra pair, but went 'bare' for the reception

I wore sewn in cups up top (my dress fabric was very, very thick) and I wore thigh high stockings & a gerter from a lingerie shop my friend uses in Vegas. I also had a custom made thing to match It was a little cold for January, but it made it a lot easier to use the bathroom!
