So my wedding is 4 months and and 26 days away. With my FIL recently passing away it's hard to focus on the wedding but our families are insisting that we keep our date so I really need to get going on my DIY projects.
The only problem is I have no inspiration or any ideas at all of what to do. My theme is all over the place, but I am going for a victorian romantic theme with different shades of purple and light green damask designs.
Can some of you share some of the DIY projects that you are doing for your weddings? Or, give me some ideas for projects?
I have put some pictures into my album of some things I have purchased so far.

this is what i did DIY:
cardbox crypacks programs bubbles drink sticks menus thank you scrolls for each place seating donation signs for each table table numbers wedding thumbprint tree jordan almond favors cd favors memorial candle unity candle pew bows a framed 18x24 picture of us to be displayed on an easel directional cards from church to reception lyric cards for our first dance song at each place seating (we wrote our own song) spraypainted L-O-V-E letters for our cake table signature drink signs water bottle labels for our houses the day of the wedding RD invitations engagement party invitations STDs brochures and thank you cards for our OOT bags help me / i do blue stickers tulle and bows outside of my parents house bouquet cuff (i just bought the crystals and my florist put it on for me) here comes the bride sign baskets for church stuff - programs, bubbles, etc. framed wedding photos of our parents weddings and a picture of us (8x10) canvas print of our wedding song lyrics to be displayed on easel 'words of wisdom' cards next to the cardbox wedding turtle photo share cards

DIY- cardbox, menus, programs, place cards, ribbon wands, drink signs, unity candle, hotel accomodations card, table numbers, jewels and stickers and calligraphy on the invitations.

Seating Display - will be a wooden frame with clothesline strung, and the cards clipped with clothespins
Bouquets - taking inspiration from etsy vendors and creating fabric & brooch arrangements for my BMs and myself
Flower girl baskets/petals
Programs
Favor bags
Candy buffet jars, making cake stands from terra cotta pottery & jars after painting
Table runners - book pages arranged in a shabby-chic pile since we're both english teachers
Centerpieces - can't decide on one specific yet! so many options...
Fabric pomanders for pews
Music - giving my brother suggestions for songs and he's making us separate playlists for the evening - we're also incorporating people's input by having them add a suggested song on their RSVP cards

Bar signage
Making Chalkboard sings to list menu and schedule of events - using old picture & window frames, spraying glass with chalk paint and painting the frames funky colors
Hotel Guest bags
Card Case - retro suitcase I'm stringing with card sign
Guest book - taking a leather photo album (Michaels, CVS, everywhere has them) and then attaching small envelopes to all of the pages - guests will write us notes/advice/etc and seal them in the enevelopes, then sign the front
Table numbers - spray painting over lace onto butcher paper to create the background pattern, then layering a painted number over it in a frame
I'm not sure what else I have planned yet....we have some time :)

Just get started as soon as you can. Dont delay bc it'll create more unneeded stress. And, ask for help from ppl. I shouldve started things a bit sooner and im getting them done but its more stressful and fun. Im not listing anything bc everyone already covered it.

well i had a 2 year engagement so there was a lot of down time for the last like 10 months of wedding planning since i booked everything in the first two months of our engagement kept me busy and sane!

definitely do it! you'll see, there is a ton of down time and you will be able to get it all done just set a deadline to finish it all before like a month before the wedding because you'll have a ton of last minute things to do for the wedding and RD then. i literally did my bubbles and crypacks a year in advance
