Madeline Margaret for a girl (Madeline for my Mom & Grandma and Margaret for DH's mom).

Jack Clayton for a boy (Jack after DH whose name is John but Jack is knickname of John and after his dad because they all call him Jack even though his name is Donald... because would YOU call yourself Donald? And Clayton b/c that's my DH's middle name).

There is much debate on this topic as FH wants to name our boy Rocco after his Grandfather....

MY name (Rachel) always means 'ewe' from the Hebrew word for mother sheep. My middle name is Ruth (ugh) so my mother has always said my name can be loosely translated as Mother-Wife.

(The Wife part comes from the Book of Ruth in the Old Testament...she was the wife of Boaz, and was devoted to her MIL Naomi...that's where the popular wedding ring phrase 'for wither thou goest I will follow' comes from. But it was from Ruth's relationship with her MIL, not Boaz, I don't think! - Gonna look it up now).

Girl: Paige Michelle, my maiden name and my first name. It is a tradition in my fmaily to give your daughter your first name as a middle name, and I am okay with giving up my last name, as long as my daughter can take it as a first name.

Boy: Joseph Scott, for my FH's date and my dad.

(i really liked Jospeh, even if it wasn't FH's dad's name, so I had to put my dad's name with it) I also really like Brian, but it is my FH's brother's name.
